Rabat

This morning we left Casablanca for the Capital City of Rabat. We visited the Kasbah, old fort, which is a whitewashed Andalusian village of winding city streets, gardens, and blue and white houses. John, our photography leader, gave us a lesson on shooting street models, which was very interesting. Re-boarding the coach we drove to Fes. Long bus ride (3 hrs) but beautiful and lush countryside with olive trees and vineyards. Arrived in Fes, the most Islamic medieval city in the world about 5 pm. Dinner at a Thai restaurant with some women from the group after a photo lecture by John. Overnight at 5-star Juan Palace for next 3 nights.
